BG Pool Paint Calculator FAQ
Important ordering information for epoxy and chlorinated-rubber pool paint.
When is epoxy primer required?
The calculator includes one epoxy primer coat for bare concrete, cement render, marbelite and plaster-type mineral surfaces. A correctly prepared fibreglass/GRP pool or compatible existing epoxy coating does not receive a separate primer quantity.
Does chlorinated rubber need an undercoat?
No separate primer or undercoat is calculated for BG Pool Chlorinated Rubber. The calculator uses four coats on bare concrete/render and three coats over a compatible existing chlorinated-rubber coating.
How do I order paint and primer together?
Choose an epoxy colour inside your calculator result. On the next page, enter the displayed number in the Epoxy Paint quantity box and the displayed number in the Primer quantity box. Leave Primer at 0 when the calculator says no primer is required, then click Add to Cart.
Where will I see the total price?
WooCommerce calculates the complete order price after you click Add to Cart. The cart shows the paint and primer as separate products, their quantities and the total before checkout and payment.
What if I do not know the existing coating?
Do not guess. Epoxy and chlorinated rubber are not interchangeable. Call BG Coatings on 1300 894 994 before ordering.
