Retuns Policy

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
BG Coatings’ Returns Policy includes the rights that you, as the consumer, have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under this law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major paint system failure. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, BG Coatings is entitled to provide you with a replacement to remedy.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period for which a remedy may be available can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. BG Coatings adopts the same approach. The type of remedy we can offer may also vary depending on the time taken to return the product.

RETURNS PROCEDURE
We will gladly accept returns for refund on all sales (except tinted colours) which are still in a saleable condition and accompanied by an original receipt of purchase.
Tint Policy: Please choose your quantities and colour selections carefully. Once the paint is tinted according to your choice it cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged.

When making a purchase, please choose carefully as BG Coatings does not accept return or exchange of products where you have simply changed your mind, are not happy with a colour or where the purchase was an unwanted gift. BG Coatings does also not accept any returns or exchanges on any paint that has been tinted. Products that are purchased online can only be returned or exchanged if they are faulty, and the fault did not arise through any misuse, abnormal use or negligent use of the product.
Any return freight cost is bared by the customer who wants to return any product.

Please contact BG Coatings so that we can determine that your purchased products are damaged or faulty through no fault of your own or through wear and tear. You will then be entitled to a product refund. Before the refund is issued, the customer will need to return the faulty or damaged goods to BG Coatings and include the receipt of purchase.
